We invite you to join us for a bi-weekly Book Circle focused on self reflection and personal anti-racism work using the book and journal entries in “Me and White Supremacy” by Layla F. Saad. We use the methods of The Circle Way to work through the material in the book together.

In the circle we will share reflections, resistances, questions and realizations that arise with the book’s guidance and material, as well as support each other through this work while holding each other accountable to stay the course through it.

This book is originally based on a 28 day challenge, with daily journal entries focused on different aspects of how racism and white supremacy expresses itself in conscious and unconscious ways in the lives of people with white privilege.

Who is this work for?

“This book is for any person who holds white privilege. By any person, I mean persons of any gender identity, including gender-nonconforming persons, and by who holds white privilege, I mean persons who are visually identifiable as white or who pass for white. Therefore, this includes persons who are biracial, multiracial, or white-passing People of Color who benefit under systems of white supremacy from having lighter skin color than visibly Brown, Black, or Indigenous People.”
