Tiffany Haddish Honors Dr. Thyonne Gordon and Other Phenomenal Women

Tiffany Haddish spent her Tuesday night honoring some impactful women in Los Angeles, attending the 2022 YWCA Phenomenal Women Award Celebration and Concert.

The 42-year-old actress and comedian hit the red carpet at the YouTube Theater with Dr. Thyonne Gordon, the executive director of the She Ready Foundation that Haddish founded.

The event honored over 3800 of Los Angeles’ first responders and essential workers – from healthcare to retail workers, educators, transportation drivers, food service and utility – the largest celebration of its kind honoring the unsung heroes of the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Thyonne Gordon was honored for her work within the community and with small business and nonprofits.  Under Dr. Gordon’s direction, She Ready Foundation inspires, protects and provides resources for youth impacted by foster care with summer internships, high school tutoring and providing luggage for those transitioning through the system.
