We are deeply saddened by the recent oil spill off our coastline. The waters off the coast of Santa Barbara make up the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary. “The sanctuary is home to an extremely rich and diverse array of marine species, making it one of the best places in the world for viewing whales and other wildlife.” It’s an interesting time before us. While we look towards new energy sources, we are in need to be mindful our natural surroundings and the impact our decisions and actions have on those #ecosystems.
