ANNOUNCING NEW TALK SERIES: PGIAA tête-à-tête®
Pacifica Graduate Institute Alumni Association and Pacifica Graduate Institute’s Office of Alumni Relations are pleased to announce a new talk series entitled PGIAA tête-à-tête®.
The series brings Pacifica alumni into closer and deeper conversation with the community, professionals, and one another. PGI alumni and faculty will lead conversations exploring some of today’s most compelling topics, including current events, newly published books, careers, and more. Alumni and friends may participate in person via Zoom connection in real-time (alumni, watch for your first invitation), or later via online archives.
PGI tête-à-têtes® will take place monthly starting in September, which will be a BONUS MONTH – offering two special alumni presentations! These events are anticipated to run approximately 1½ to 2 hours (some including wine & cheese receptions). Alumni and friends are invited to email in questions (via Zoom) during the live broadcasts so that tête-à-tête® participants can answer questions in real-time. For those who are unable to listen live, a recording of the talk will be made available online via the Alumni Association website (https://pgiaa.org).
This is a developing event: there may be a minimal charge, and event pre-registration may be required.
We invite all alumni to suggest topics, request speakers and facilitators, register for events, and track the series schedule as plans evolve.
Please find below the Application Form for consideration as a presenter for 2018-19. (“Presentations” may include, but are not limited to: Book-signings, lectures, workshops, and more.) Presenters may participate as an individual or partner with a former cohort or colleague. All applications will be reviewed, and you will be contacted with a suggested date. If you are unable to accept the date offered, we will work with you to insure a mutually agreeable date.
