Time, Timing and Synchronicity

A discussion with Christophe Le Mouel, Executive Director of the Jung Institute
On Wednesday June 14, the Myth Salon will once again be joined by Christophe Le Mouël, Executive Director of the Jung Institute, who will facilitate a discussion about “Time, Timing and Synchronicity.” Understandably, we are deeply honored that Christophe has developed an affinity for what we are all doing. Among the many concepts we will explore are the ancient Greek notions of Kairos and Chronos.  But we will consider how some people seem to have a knack for being in the right place at the right time – a kind of court sense, a sort of parking place, that enables them to flow like a master in the game of life.  How we experience time – and space – influences our personal and cultural values and priorities.  Think of time as the animal of the imagination and how we engage both the temporal and the eternal creates the rhythms that are life–defining.

The Inside Story

A discussion with Dara Marks, writer and script consultant
Then, on Wednesday July 12, the Myth Salon is extremely privileged to be visited by writer and script consultant Dara Marks, whose book Inside Story – The Power of the Transformational Arc is a principle text in the film and television industry for screenwriters.  You can read articles and reviews about her publications, workshops and speaking engagements on her website: www.daramarks.com. In anticipation of the demand for Dara’s Myth Salon, I am expecting that we will probably be forced to limit attendance, so if you wish to attend, I recommend responding early.

Time: 7:00 pm  – 9:00 pm
Location: Home of Dana White in Santa Monica
(Address will be provided upon RSVP)
Please email Dana White (dwprods@verizon.net) regarding any questions or to RSVP for this month’s Myth Salon.
