Los Angeles County Psychological Association’s Community Outreach Committee is pleased to Announce

A Call for Artists Mirrors of the Mind 7: The Psychotherapist as Artist

ART EXHIBITION DATES: November 21 – December 1, 2018
RECEPTION: November 24 • 6-10PM
EXHIBITION LOCATION: Santa Monica Art Studios, South Gallery (3026 Airport Avenue, Santa Monica, CA 90405)
ELIGIBILITY: Open to all LACPA members as well as non-member psychologists, psychotherapists, psychoanalysts, clinical and research psychology professors/instructors, and psychotherapy graduate students, nationally and internationally.
SUBMISSIONS: A spacious art gallery is available for all varieties of multimedia, visual art. All art must be psychologically themed and/or psychologically meaningful. A poetry reading will also be held in the gallery. To defray event costs, there is a $25 art submission fee per piece for LACPA members, a $35 fee per piece for non-LACPA members, and $20 per piece for students. Exceptions will be made in cases of financial hardship.
GALLERY VENUE: All varieties of multimedia visual art are welcomed: painting, drawing, photography, textiles, jewelry, sculpture, ceramics, woodwork, furniture, and other 3-D pieces; SELECTION CRITERIA: artistic value, psychological significance, and originality.
