The Central Coast branch of the Pacifica Alumni Association held its second gathering at Avila Beach on 28 April 2012. Regional Coordinator Chrystina Pope reports that it was a beautiful evening at the Point San Luis Lighthouse and there was a sense of wellbeing that filled the air in knowing there are others in the local community who are continuing to celebrate and deepen Pacifica’s mission of tending the soul in and of the world.

Attendees included Erin Lindvall, Lucille Bosco, Aaron Kipnis, Betty Gillespe, Sandra Volk, Linda Lawler, Azam Ghareman, Gordana Brabson, and Susan Benaron. All enlivened the environment with stories of how dream and soul are manifesting, with much conversation, laughter, and camaraderie.

There was connection and comfort in the shared space, and an acknowledgement that we are working for and are a part of something larger than ourselves. Many revealed how they experience their Pacifica education, and how they share their own unique glimpses of the world. A sense of working together in the community created the magic that filled the air. Many reconnections and new friends were made.
