In the Bookstore, one of our favorite experiences is meeting and connecting with authors. To hear from alumni who want to know if we can carry a book they have just published is always an especially exciting and fun moment to share with the author. We know that a great amount of work and years of research are poured into writing a book, and we’re honored to be able to support our alumni authors.
At the Alumni Gathering in January 2015, the Bookstore welcomed over 20 alumni authors to showcase their work. We have never had that many authors attend one event, and we were nervous that the logistics of it might not work. However, it was a success! It was inspiring to see all the varied methods and ways our alumni have brought their talents and experience out into the world. We hope to be able to do this again!
