Alumni join voices

We are excited to announce that two Pacifica alumni have joined their creative energies to produce an awesome audio book: When a Toy Dog Became a Wolf and the Moon Broke Curfew… a memoir, now available on Audible and other audio book sites. Written by Hendrika de Vries and narrated by Jane Mickelson, this wartime story reveals the power of mythic imagination in a time of darkness and oppression.   We encourage you to put in your earbuds and dive deep into this tale of courage and resilience in Nazi-occupied Amsterdam, when passivity morphs into fierce resistance.  Symbolized by a toy dog that reveals its wolf-like strength for survival and the moon’s active capacity to light the path home in the dark, a young girl discovers the woman she wants to become.
