Ms. May received her M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in 1996. She credits the school’s motto, Animae Mundi Colendae Gratia  (for the sake of tending soul in and of the world) for guiding her life and work. Ms. May is a therapist and educator living in beautiful Siskiyou County, California. In addition to having a private practice, Ms. May conducts classes, groups, and workshops within her rural county and online. She is especially passionate about facilitating community writing and storytelling groups and classes for adults and teens at risk. Ms. May hopes to do her part to expand PGIAA’s alumni outreach to those who, like herself, are especially in need of support and connection after the conclusion of their Pacifica school experience. Her online classes and groups are made up of writers and dreamers from around the world, including many PGI alumni.
