Alia Aizenstat

Alia Aizenstat is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice. Alia is the published author of Psychotherapy in the Digital Age: The Integration of Online Identities in the Therapeutic Process. She is a lecturer and educator teaching psychoeducation and digital responsibility in Jr High Schools, High Schools, Graduate Programs, and therapeutic treatment centers. Alia specializes in Internet Addiction and the use of dreams and imagination as a path to healing. She has trained in EMDR trauma therapy with an attachment focus through the Parnell Institute, and in Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) with one of the programs founders Steven Hayes. Alia is certified in: Leadership Development through Leadership Santa Barbara County; Dream Tending, a depth psychological approach to working with dreams; and is a Registered Yoga Teacher.
