Understanding our history is critical to the development of our understanding of ourselves. Juneteenth, which celebrates the emancipation of enslaved peoples in the United States, is a time for remembrance and reflection. Pacifica Graduate Institute, the Alumni Association, and Fielding Graduate University are pleased to partner with organizations in the community to commemorate Juneteenth, gather as a community, and learn further about the Black history in Santa Barbara and beyond.
