The Interfaith Sanctuary Alliance (ISA) will be hosting a “Love Your Neighbor”-themed weekend from Nov 29 through Dec 2. The purpose of the weekend is to promote awareness and care for Santa Barbara County’s immigrant community through a faith community-led campaign of compassion. Our hope is that people of all faiths and walks of life in Santa Barbara will come together to show their solidarity with our immigrant neighbors.

Location: De La Guerra Plaza
Candlelight vigil in solidarity with our immigrant neighbors. Join us as we take to State Street with candles and signs to proclaim our love for our immigrant neighbors.

“Love Your Neighbor”-themed faith services. Faith communities all over Santa Barbara will incorporate the “Love Your Neighbor” theme into their weekly service. Resource packets are available for all interested faith communities, complete with relevant passages from sacred texts, liturgies, and songs.

“Love Your Neighbor” Festival. Join us for a time of food, music, dance, and speakers as we celebrate our immigrant neighbors and the community we share together. Festival proceeds will be go toward the Immigrant Legal Defense Center, a nonprofit in SB County working to recruit and train volunteer attorneys to represent immigrants in removal proceedings.
