About Claire Blakey & Josh Manney
Claire Blakey, MA, LMFT, PMH-C is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and serves as the President for SBCAMFT. Claire is the founder and Clinical Director of Thrive Therapy Santa Barbara, a group practice in downtown Santa Barbara (and treating clients throughout the state of California through telehealth) treating eating disorders, anxiety, depression, grief and perinatal mental health. Claire serves on the board of IAEDP (International Association of Eating Disorders) Central Coast and is Perinatal Mental Health Certified through Postpartum Support International. Alongside this, Claire is the founder of The Flourishing Therapreneur© – empowering therapists through podcasts, courses and consultation on how to flourish in private practice and entrepreneurial endeavors.
Josh Manney, MS, LMFT, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who serves as the Director of Pre Licensing for SBCAMFT. Josh owns a private practice in Ventura where he works with individuals and groups on issues related to Anxiety, ADHD/Neurodivergence, and Life Transitions. Josh also serves as an adjunct faculty member at California Lutheran University where he teaches graduate level courses in Marriage and Family Therapy. Josh has experience working in non-profit settings, community mental health, and private practice.
