On Thursday evening, July 30th, the Mythology Program celebrated a gala evening that included dinner, awards, hugs, accolades, hugs and music! Rincon Catering and their Staff were fabulous – the food extraordinarily delicious! “The Mythology Gala was a blast this year! E track boasted costumes for the fairytale of Briar Rose and set a high bar for classes in the future! There were also heartfelt gifts both for the school and faculty. A scholarship fund was established for our beloved Walter Odajnyk, who passed away in 2013, as well as a Meyer lemon tree to be planted in his honor on the Lambert Campus. Individual gifts for faculty included original Daimon dolls and decorated tote bags. Professor Lans Smith wowed us with his prowess on the guitar, accompanied by two second year students. The dance was a huge success, enjoyed by faculty and students.” – Cindy Caldwell “The class gifts from I-Track were a tremendous team effort to best represent the gratitude that all of us feel for the wonderful faculty of the Mythological Studies program, including Dr. Odajnyk, who held a special place in our hearts.“ – Emily Teater Please share your recollections and additional photographs of this truly beautiful evening!
