MIT Chinese Alumni Group presents Jodie Wu (MIT BS; MIT Public Service Center Fellow), an international entrepreneur and executive.
Jodie will share how she started her journey by leveraging the resources, fellowship, and mentors at MIT, and after winning the MIT 100K Business Plan Competition (Audience Choice Award Winner), launching to be recognized as Bloomberg’s Most Promising Entrepreneurs and Forbes’ 30 under 30. She is also an Echoing Green Fellow, TEDGlobal Fellow, MIT D-Lab Scale-Ups Fellow, and C3E International Award Winner. C3E is the U.S. Clean Energy Education and Empowerment (C3E) Initiative that is collaboratively implemented by the U.S. Department of Energy, MIT Energy Initiative, Stanford University’s Precourt Institute for Energy, and Texas A&M Energy Institute.
Jodie will also share how she overcomes the personal, entrepreneurial, and international business challenges as a Chinese American, a child of immigrants in the United States, a female American entrepreneur and executive in the United States and Africa.
