Dear Community,
I am very pleased to let you know that the Depth Psychology Alliance Administrative Board has a new Executive Committee! In the past two weeks, we have established (for the first time) a leadership team from the existing Administrative Board:
Jesse Masterson (Board Chair)
James Newell (Board Vice Chair)
Dorene Mahoney (Secretary)
Bonnie Bright (Founder)
Developing Specialized Committees
Together, this Executive Team will take on the responsibilities of establishing and supporting dedicated committees (comprised of board members and volunteer members from the community) that will pursue the many initiatives and processes we want to develop to better serve our members and the greater depth psychology community.
These committees have already begun to take root as they meet (or plan to meet) over the next few weeks. Board Chair, Jesse Masterson, will share more information in coming days and weeks about the committees and some of the initiatives we are planning.
Our Vision Moving Forward
Not only do we have some exciting ideas and a growing vision of what the Alliance can be, we are also re-dedicating ourselves to finding ways for more involvement and collaboration for those of you who would like to be part of what we believe to be an exciting and growing movement—a depth psychology that can both feed your individual soul and give you opportunities to pursue your own depth psychological work in the world in collaboration with others.
In short, we will work harder than ever to establish the Alliance as a nurturing, thriving hive for opportunities for exposure, exploration, and exchange—for creating portals of experience that will tap into the principles and practices of depth psychology and provide access to increasing numbers of individuals like yourself that are hungry for more authentic connection and engaging in the work of soul.
For my part, I’m personally very excited about this new phase in the journey of the Alliance, and welcome your feedback and your participation. You can view bios for all members of the Administrative Board here (located under the “About” link in the top menu), and if you have questions or comments, please feel free to message any one of us (Go to Members, search for the individual you wish to contact, and click “Message” on the top left under their profile photo)—or post questions or comments for discussion in the Forum or on the live text chat (Chat link at the top).
Special thanks and appreciation to our Advisory Board as well.
In soul,
Bonnie Bright
Founder
