Sept. 21, 2017 | Two professionals at the Charleston School of Law are part of the new class of the Riley Institute at Furman’s Diversity Leaders Initiative, an exclusive, award-winning program to help state leaders better understand talent and creativity in South Carolina.
Among those picked for the Fall 2017 program in the Lowcountry are Len Young, executive director of the Charleston School of Law Foundation, and Nick Sanders, director of strategic recruitment at the school
“It’s an honor for an organization to get one person a year in the competitive, highly prestigious DLI program,” said Charleston School of Law Dean Andy Abrams. “But to have two highlights the high standing that members of our professional team are held in.”
Young has held executive positions in nonprofit and for-profit organizations across the U.S. She has lived and worked in Toronto, New York and Phoenix with experience in fields from professional theater to national brand management. A graduate of Converse College, she has an MBA from Rollins College and a doctorate in mythological studies/ Jungian psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute.
Sanders, who graduated from the law school with honors in 2012, is a 2005 graduate of Furman University. Prior to joining the school’s admissions team, he was an associate with Clawson & Staubes law firm in Charleston.
