October 14th marked the successful launching of our Casual Fridays Gatherings. Alums dropped in at their neighborhood Hamburger Hamlet in Sherman Oaks. We all were pleased that it was close to our home or place of work and that we had the opportunity to just drop in at the end of the week and be with other Alums.
We had a delightful time catching up, hearing about heart projects, dissertation topics and creative passions. We also had time to delve into deep and interesting conversations about current social, cultural and political issues. Minds were stimulated, hearts were warmed and we all agreed we would like to gather again soon!
Our next gathering will be in Pasadena at Du-Par’s on Lake, November 18th 6pm-9pm.
