Marcella “Marcy” De Veaux, PhD
Marcy De Veaux is a media expert, Storyteller, Coach and Depth Psychologist. She is a tenured full professor of Journalism at California State University, Northridge and also holds the title of Associate Director of Faculty Development.
De Veaux is a contributing author in Seeing in the Dark: Wisdom Works by Black Women in Depth Psychology. Her other published work includes Imaginative Inquiry: Innovative Approaches to Interdisciplinary Research and Teaching Daughters of the Dust as a Womanist Film and the Black Arts Aesthetic of Filmmaker Julie Dash.
De Veaux arranges workshops on unconscious bias as a pathway to achieve diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice for higher education, small-to-medium sized businesses, non-profit organizations, and media companies.
