Jodi House hiring Senior Program Manager



Jodi House empowers brain injury survivors to not merely survive, but thrive, by providing classes and services that encourage their physical, cognitive, and behavioral recovery, regardless of the ability to pay.


The Senior Program Manager at Jodi House will be responsible for the oversight and administration of our day program and case management services for brain injury survivors. The Senior Program Manager will work directly with adult brain injury survivors with compassion, sensitivity, and professionalism in furtherance of their goals and Jodi House’s mission. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate program scheduling, including maintaining the program calendar and the scheduling of class instructors, program staff, and volunteers
  • Develop program curricula and monitor and provide feedback on the appropriateness and effectiveness of programs
  • Supervise and manage program staff
  • Monitor member needs and develop programs to meet those needs consistent with Jodi House mission and budgetary considerations
  • Provide case management services and facilitate classes and support groups as needed
  • Work directly with the executive director in developing program budget and setting program goals
  • In collaboration with the executive director, implement and oversee CA State Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) grant requirements and provide timely and accurate reports
  • Manage the Immersion Services program for DOR consumers
  • Work with highly sensitive information and ensure that program data is collected and databases are maintained 
  • Liaise and collaborate with representatives of other social service, medical, and health care agencies and organizations in furtherance of member needs
  • Develop and implement community outreach activities to increase awareness of Jodi House’s services
  • Provide information about Jodi House programs, activities, policies, and procedures to internal and external contacts, including conducting tours of Jodi House
  • Inspect facilities and ensure ongoing maintenance of the physical site in accordance with governmental guidelines, Jodi House policy, and management direction
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with Jodi House policies, procedures, and rules
  • Monitor and ensure member safety at all times, and take appropriate and timely action in response to urgent or emergency situations
  • Assist with special events as needed
  • Occasional work after hours and on weekends
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Master’s degree; preference given to candidates working towards mental health license, or with LCSW or LMFT license 
  • Knowledge of Santa Barbara social service, medical, and health care agencies


Generous vacation, sick time, and holiday pay. Benefits eligible after 60 days — 75% of health benefits are paid by employer and a 403(b) plan is offered.
