Coast Community College District Internship Opportunity

0

In the Spring ’19 semester, Coast Community College District will run our next round of the T.I.E.S. (Teaching Internship with Experienced Support) Program.  We are currently recruiting interns in Biology

  • Chemistry
  • Counseling
  • English
  • ESL
  • Horticulture
  • Math
  • Psychology
  • Spanish
  • Theater Arts (1-2)

To be considered for the program, prospective interns must meet these minimum requirements:

  1. No prior community college teaching experience
  2. Completion of at least one year of full-time graduate study (or the equivalent) in your field
  3. An interest in teaching at the community college level
  4. Completion of the online application (see below)

The program lasts for one semester (late January – late May), and it comes with a $500 stipend.  Though there is no guarantee of future employment beyond the internship, we have, thus far, had great success in placing eligible interns in local part-time community college faculty positions upon completion of the program.

For additional information on the program and a link to the online application, please view this site:
